So last week we made it out to the HOYOTOHO Videopera Release Party which had a great turnout. It was the first time in years I think I drank Vodka as thats all they had and I wont lie I liked it. As you will see below in the video these guys poured their heart and soul into every song. I really have to give mad love to Tim K. who put the video together and Calvin Bradley the lead singer as these guys really pulled off a stellar show. Not sure how we made it to both shows but Dagnushka and I headed to The House of Blues last night to catch a surprise Hoyotoho act and then headed to The Granada to see Ben Kweller. After the Granada we made a visit to the “Basement at Suite” which has transformed into a hipster hangout on Fridays. I have never seen so many 35mm cameras. Tyler from Hoyotoho and Dagnushka and a few others and I danced till we were soaked. I have to give it to whoever is running this spot now (change of ownership) because although the crowd was nothing like it was before (minus the “Suits” add some hipsters downstairs and some ghetto fabulous upstairs) for the first time in years I actually had fun there. Today we found a few lovely ladies to do a photo shoot with and will hopefully be posting video from the Ben Kweller show soon as well. Above are my main men Calvin and Tyler from Hoyotoho.

VEGA was undoubtedly a super fun fantastic show at the Cavern as well. Cant wait to see these boys TONIGHT in Austin with the Golden Filter at Beauty Bar. If you are in the A-town tonight there are no excuses not to stop by.

Ran into Jane last week from SeaofShoes.com at The Cavern. Dagnushka snapped a picture of her sporting my legendary hat outside the Vega and Hoyotoho show. The shows as always were killer with non-stop energy. Hoyotoho released a few new songs that night that will be debuted on their upcoming album. Write-ups from the show and clips coming soon.

We will be there. And with Peaches performing earlier in the evening at Granada, the night promises to get weird. Good weird.
