Justice. Enough said.
Everyone knows they have been running shit for so long now. Is anyone tired of it? I know I am not. Don’t lie to yourself. Justice has influenced your life in more ways than you know. Via making it acceptable to be a trash can and still clean house with the ladies. Not [...]
[Polaroid Wednesday] Little Miss Gilberto
Posted in Fashion, LA, polaroid wednesday on Nov 25th, 2009
This [Polaroid Wednesday] is close to my heart because the photographer is none other than my fourteen year old sister, aka ‘Little Miss Gilberto.’ I would like to say that she is similar to me in a lot of ways, but I can’t. Why? Because she is wayyyyyy cooler. She is a budding photographer/vintage camera [...]

It was a very happy birthday to HELLOOOOOO.COM at The ISH this week!! But it wasn’t just HELLOOOOOO.COM’s Birthday, it was our very own Gilberto’s Birthday!! I did the photobooth a little bit different for this special event — we even had people signing our backdrop which were gonna hopefully get up for everyone to [...]

On Saturday I went to see Mickey Avalon/Beardo perform and though I’ve never even seen Mickey Avalon before, I was definitely impressed by not only him but the whole show! Beardo opened up for him to start the show around midnight. Never seen him before either, but he looks strangely similiar to the guy that was [...]

I recently styled a couple photo shoots for my online portfolio with the one and only photographer, Simon Perry. Perry comes to us from the U.K. and is a former assistant to the renowned photographer Mario Testino. I chose wardrobe for the shoot by the L.A. based designer Jasmin Shokrian, as well as Diane von [...]
Poolside Garment of The Year Award

Unfortunately I had to see this one with my own eyes. I’m not sure if this was a practical joke or not (probably not) but kudos to the guy for doing his own thing. I just pray his friend in the water with his thumbs up behind him is not also wearing the same thing.

Posted in Dallas, Lifestyle, Music, Nightlife, shoes on Jun 10th, 2009
Ran into Jane last week from SeaofShoes.com at The Cavern. Dagnushka snapped a picture of her sporting my legendary hat outside the Vega and Hoyotoho show. The shows as always were killer with non-stop energy. Hoyotoho released a few new songs that night that will be debuted on their upcoming album. Write-ups from the show and clips coming soon.
Cool new website my friend started. The concept is to interview and capture unique individuals who are forward thinking with their style and to find out what inspires them. Look out because yours truly might be on there soon. Stylelikeu.com
Below is an image taken straight off the runway from the Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2009 collection. And though the bird-suit above may not be the best example of the reality of fashion here in the 21st century, it is certainly a bit more practical than some of the getups in this 1930’s video about — [...]

Oh Karl, you are such a silly boy! Mr. Lagerfeld unveiled the new Chanel line this past week, which by all accounts is mostly….get this….are you ready….black! Yup, shocking indeed. One new and amazing product that was showcased is this: The Chanel Perspex Briefcase. A modern take on a classic must. Take a closer look, [...]
As Olympus Fashion Week is upon us — as in starting tomorrow — I wanted to point out a designer I recently found. Although it is not taking part in the official Fashion Week, BALMAIN did recently show off their Spring 2009 collection…and what a collection it is. So get yourself warmed up before the [...]
The guys at Public School have been killing it since their debut earlier this year. A couple of items have been added to their most recent fall/winter collection, including this evil cardi above. This piece in a word….FRESH! I’m probably an XL to anyone out there that cares. More school after the jump.
