Life In Minneapolis..

So it’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to post anything, I’ve been really busy with my jewelry and such getting that off the ground, which you’ll see some Helloooooo Jewelry special made by me up here soon! I’ve been in Minneapolis hiding out working on my collection and traveling. Thought I’d throw some photos at you guys of life up here so far, a glimpse into the unknown, haha. I’m here until summer then I go back to LA!

It’s snowing now in Minneapolis, has been for a month, this weekend there was a blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow and -20 degree weather, this shot was before that.

Last week my friend Jeffree Star came into town to play a show, he’s from LA, and I stopped by to hang out for a bit.

A few weeks after I first got to Minneapolis my friend Jonny Craig of Emarosa and Dance Gavin Dance was in town with Emarosa playing a show at the Cabooze, we had a hell of a night that night!

One of the best shows I’ve seen up here so far, Circa Survive and Attack Attack at the Cabooze!

My Friends the Millionaires are obssessed with my feather Jewelry, they wore it on stage the night I hungout with them and have ordered a bunch since..

Halloween was crazy, we ended up drinking a ton of patron and going to a bunch of dance parties, haha!

Lastly this is a shot I took/made for my collection RedDevilLove, ‘The Devil In Me’.

I’l be posting regularly now that I have a little more time, I’ve got a ton of stuff coming up too, like a two week roadtrip across the U.S., NY Fashion Week, Me Undies shoot in LA, and SUPERBOWL XLV in Dallas!!!

Saturday night I was invited to the Havaianas party by Geri from Because I’m Addicted. The party was hosted at a Hancock Park Mansion and had a Fat Burger truck and a full open bar with everything you can ask for… minus Jack. Ibiza was really crazy and to be honest not really my scene. The beaches were amazing as was some of the food but these mega clubs that held like 6,000 people were a little intense and insane for me. On top of that everyone was smoking cigarettes like they just came out of their last AA meeting. Below are some of my favorite pics of Ibiza. Guetta was Ghetto.

What a show these guys rocked the entire crowd and it was amazing. My only complaint was they didn’t play long enough.

Just landed in Rome today and was finally able to get Internet in my room. My first stop on the trip was Amsterdam, then Paris which was delectable, took a night train to San Sabatian, Ibiza, and finally now Rome. I still have a week to go and pictures to post from Paris and on. Jay’s Juices in Amsterdam was one of the best juice bars I have ever been to, as was this restaurant we went to called Cafe George. Earthship Homes Taos, NM

Today I went on an adventure which blew my mind. I visited an area literally surrounded by nothing but Earthships. If you are curious to know what that is (as I was) an Earthship is basically a radically sustainable home made by recycled material with parts of the home built underground. These Earthships get electricity from the sun and wind, get water from rain and snow melt off, and get heating and cooling from the sun and the earth. The one I visited today was owned by a photographer who used the various different rooms of her house that were all unique for photoshoot backdrops. Part of the house actually had Wal-Mart doors as windows and the rest was put together with scrap wood she gathered over years. It was truly amazing. I am going to spend some more time with her researching the area and taking photos with her so check back soon for more.

Jump Rope Man

Me, Shok & Marisol were at a restaurant over off of Knox in uptown about two or three weeks ago and came across this guy, just jump roping, FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, haha. He said to call himself JUMP ROPE MAN, so that’s exactly what we’re doing! Keep on jumpin’ jump rope man, you never know when the world will call on you!

So last Wednesday was my pre-birthday party at The ISH w/ Parker Lawson & John Michael!!! Thanks to everyone for coming out and celebrating with me, I had a lot of fun going crazy and dancing! SCARDELLO – Best Cheese Shop In Dallas, TX

Scardello is one of Dallas’ BEST cheese shops! I had the honor of being invited to the shop for a running competition they have been having between different regions of the world that have similar cheeses. Last weeks competitor’s were the WEST COAST vs. SPAIN, with the West Coast demolishing Spain. With each cheese matching from either region there were specific wines paired with them. I found that I didn’t know very much on cheese or the wine but as the class/competition progressed my knowledge and conversation on the subject grew. We were told to use our 4 senses: TOUCH, SMELL, TASTE, & SIGHT, to judge the different cheeses. At first it was hard trying to use different adjectives and likenesses to describe them, but after awhile it came easy. This is probably the funnest, not to mention most informative, wine/cheese tasting I’ve ever had! The staff and presentation was perfect, it couldn’t have been presented better! I recommend SCARDELLO CHEESE SHOP to any and everyone who has a passion for fine cheese and wine, only the best is hand-picked to be in this shop!

Coachella 2010 Day 1

The pictures can speak for themselves because I am missing out on pool side activities by putting this post up. Coachella has been amazing to say the least bit. Thank god for my new wireless card which lets me get online virtually anywhere. LCD Soundsystem, La Roux, Jay Z, and Passion Pit were all jaw dropping good. I can’t wait to see Dead Weather, Muse, and The XX tonight. Stay tuned for some of the most amazing video I have yet to take. LCD Soundsystem on stage was ill. Videos will be posted sometime next week.
