It’s snowing now in Minneapolis, has been for a month, this weekend there was a blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow and -20 degree weather, this shot was before that.

Last week my friend Jeffree Star came into town to play a show, he’s from LA, and I stopped by to hang out for a bit.

A few weeks after I first got to Minneapolis my friend Jonny Craig of Emarosa and Dance Gavin Dance was in town with Emarosa playing a show at the Cabooze, we had a hell of a night that night!

One of the best shows I’ve seen up here so far, Circa Survive and Attack Attack at the Cabooze!

My Friends the Millionaires are obssessed with my feather Jewelry, they wore it on stage the night I hungout with them and have ordered a bunch since..

Halloween was crazy, we ended up drinking a ton of patron and going to a bunch of dance parties, haha!

Lastly this is a shot I took/made for my collection RedDevilLove, ‘The Devil In Me’.

I’l be posting regularly now that I have a little more time, I’ve got a ton of stuff coming up too, like a two week roadtrip across the U.S., NY Fashion Week, Me Undies shoot in LA, and SUPERBOWL XLV in Dallas!!!

So last Wednesday was my pre-birthday party at The ISH w/ Parker Lawson & John Michael!!!  Thanks to everyone for coming out and celebrating with me, I had a lot of fun going crazy and dancing!  My new bosses over at 944 Magazine also got me a $150 gift card for Ghostbar so I managed to drink the night away, thanks guys!  See the rest of the photos from my crazy night HERE!!

Scardello is one of Dallas’ BEST cheese shops!  I had the honor of being invited to the shop for a running competition they have been having between different regions of the world that have similar cheeses.  Last weeks competitor’s were the WEST COAST vs. SPAIN, with the West Coast demolishing Spain.  With each cheese matching from either region there were specific wines paired with them.  I found that I didn’t know very much on cheese or the wine but as the class/competition progressed my knowledge and conversation on the subject grew.  We were told to use our 4 senses: TOUCH, SMELL, TASTE, & SIGHT, to judge the different cheeses. At first it was hard trying to use different adjectives and likenesses to describe them, but after awhile it came easy.  This is probably the funnest, not to mention most informative, wine/cheese tasting I’ve ever had!  The staff and presentation was perfect, it couldn’t have been presented better!  I recommend SCARDELLO CHEESE SHOP to any and everyone who has a passion for fine cheese and wine, only the best is hand-picked to be in this shop!

The ISH this week was a special one, not for the mere reason that it took place on a Tuesday night instead of our regular Wednesday night, but because it was a DJ Battle Royal sponsored Red Bull, an open bar, and none other than DJ CRAZE spinning and judging, arguably the best DJ in the world!  I’ve never seen Ghostbar as packed as it was, not even when Aoki or Mickey Avalon played.  The open bar definitely got everyone loosened up and above was our spinning DJ winner of the night!  Check out the rest of the photos HERE!

Friday at SXSW we had a Backyard Dance Party at the house we rented in Austin. Our friend Jane that runs SEAOFSHOES.COM stayed with us during the festival and our friend Ronnie from Neon Indian stopped by to hang for awhile also, while we were chilling waiting for the party to start I snapped a few photos in the backyard, The party ended up being amazing, I have three new bands I’m absolutely in Love with: Jessica 6 formerly of Hercules and the Love Affair, The Happen-ins, and Sore Losers, everyone should check them out!!

The Flaming Lips @ NX35 this year were amazing — I’ve never seen them live but their performance was one of the best I’ve ever seen, and the crowd was intense. On Sunday we went back to Denton for the end of the NX35 weekend. We saw the 8-track museum, a rooftop hip-hop show, and enjoyed some free pizza. We ended the night at Rubber Gloves where we saw Neon Indian, Ishi, French Horn Rebellion and others.

What a weekend, here comes SXSW!!!

OCELOT dominated The Ish last week!  Seriously the best time I’ve seen him DJ so far, the set was amazing!  Thanks to everyone for coming out and partying hard, hope you all make it this week when we take a step back in time to 1886 when BLAKE WARD, BANDIT and our very own WISHFM hold down the fort at ‘THE ISH.’ Check out the rest of the photos from last week HERE!

‘THE ISH’ last night definitely had its moments, from the technical difficulties when the sound cut off for a few minutes, to the insane crowd that surged after Grant Shapiro started spinning.  Steven Molina opened the night up by getting everyone in the mood, then around midnight came in LA-based DJ Shapiro to take it to the next level!  The Mavs/Lakers game brought a lot of different people out, and the diversity was awesome and everyone definitely danced the night away!  See the rest of the photos HERE!

I got the chance to go by the BODIES EXHIBIT in West End in Downtown Dallas today.  This was one of the best scientific exhibits I have ever been too — as well as artistic.  The means by which these bodies were obtained and used for the exhibit is highly controversial, as they were not donated to science but rather Jane/John Doe’s.  How they created some of these controversial presentations is as amazing as it is intricate.  I advise everyone to check this out if you ever get the chance!  Thanks to the Museum for letting us come by and share what we saw with you all.  See the rest of the photos from the exhibit HERE.

I’ve never seen a hip hop performance by anyone before, but holy hell is it an experience. Recording artist COMMON performed with DJ IRIE at Ghostbar for the 944 Magazine NBA Allstar After-party on Sunday.  I was lucky enough to get a press pass to cover the event, and it was nothing short of amazing.  The rhythm of the room (not to mention obscene amount of basketball players, celebrities, and people) was something I haven’t seen since Mickey Avalon played at Ghostbar late last year.  Common has always been a pick of mine when it comes to hip hop, his musical genius is unique and has the power to make you move and smile, it was definitely the highlight of the night.  Check out the rest of the photos from the night HERE.
