After the Atlantis Home/Sea of Shoes trunk show at V.O.D. on Thursday, the crew headed to the grand opening of the Dallas offices of &Transfer, the Southwest’s premier color correction boutique. The raw, industrial office space offered both amazing views of the Dallas skyline and a “virtual” demo of the color correction process. The general consensus [...]

THE ISH – 2.24.2010 [ MOLINA | SHAPIRO ]
Posted in Dallas, Nightlife, Photography, The Ish Wednesdays on Feb 25th, 2010
‘THE ISH’ last night definitely had its moments, from the technical difficulties when the sound cut off for a few minutes, to the insane crowd that surged after Grant Shapiro started spinning. Steven Molina opened the night up by getting everyone in the mood, then around midnight came in LA-based DJ Shapiro to take it [...]
[Polaroid Wednesday] “A Guy Walks Into A Dildo Factory…”
Posted in LA, Lifestyle, polaroid wednesday on Feb 24th, 2010
No, this isn’t some perverted joke about a rabbi and a Catholic priest. Rather, this is how I spent my Friday last week. Gilberto + Doc Johnson’s North Hollywood factory + Polaroid camera + a sordid imagination = Pure silicone-composite magic.

[ BODIES ] The Human Body Exhibit
Posted in Art, Dallas, Design, Exhibits, Health, Museums, Nature, science on Feb 19th, 2010
I got the chance to go by the BODIES EXHIBIT in West End in Downtown Dallas today. This was one of the best scientific exhibits I have ever been too — as well as artistic. The means by which these bodies were obtained and used for the exhibit is highly controversial, as they were not donated [...]

Had to pick up some “documents” at the Dallas tax building earlier and came across these suckas — every single Texas license plate to date. Pretty kewl if you ask me.
