Last night was the soft opening of restaurateur Donald Chick’s “Park” on Henderson. The layout and design of the place reminded me of a modern-day, eclectic version of The Beverly Hills Hotel sprinkled with some Southern flare. The lighting and ambiance were on point, as was the food. We shared the mussels and pizza to start and for my main course I had a combination taco platter which was amazing. Park also has an extra-spacious bar and plenty of outdoor seating. I would definitely go back again and look forward to the rear lounge opening sometime in September.
