Had the pleasure of sweating my ass off at two Texas Rangers games this week: the first against the Toronto Blue Jays (never heard of ‘em…really) and the other against my beloved Dodgers (Manny who?). The coolest attraction of all was the new Cowboys Stadium across the way looking like a spaceship gearing for take off. Aside from the father of three next to me rocking the woven multi-colored anklet at one game, the crowds were mellow and the beers were frostier than ever.
Being the spoiled brats that we are, Shok, the rest of the crew and I decided to beat the heat and valet our cars. A brilliant concept indeed: Valet free for Lexusers and $30 for non-Lexusers.
Do the math: Valet parking + icy Coors Light + piping hot chicken tenders = home run!
