Bernard L Madoff pleaded guilty today to 11 counts of fraud, money laundering, perjury and theft. The son-of-a-gun was placed immediately in jail after having his bail revoked. Sentencing is a couple months away but it seems like the story will end without the climax we had hoped for; no trial, no shame, no cursing from distraught ex-clients in the back of the courtroom.
