Google + LIFE = Eye-Opening Collaboration

Wow. Logged onto Google today and was pleasantly suprised to find a link to Life Magazine’s photographic archive of over 10 million photos. The breadth of photos is simply amazing, from the 1860′s to Academy Awards to space exploration. According to a press release from the National Press Photographers Association, “The Life Photo Archive featured on Google will be among the largest professional photography collections on the Web and one of the largest scanning projects ever undertaken.” For us, thats good news. Especially because we like stuff that’s free. Like, a lot. Check it out here, I promise that you won’t be let down: http://images.google.com/hosted/life. Select images after the jump.
